Every fall, or autumn, these forest friends come together to celebrate the season of the Fall of the Leaf. They feast on acorn tea, mushroom soup and apple pies as they prepare for a cold and cozy winter.
Celebrate this season together with these cute gnomes, their home and their forest friends. You can use this printable to make a beautiful display to teach children about the changing seasons of nature. But of course it’s also a fun scene to play with or use in storytelling. Or what about decoration for a fall birthday?
In this bundle you will get both the full color version and the coloring page version of this printable.
Included in this printable are four gnomes, a squirrel, a ladybug, a snail, a mushroom, a tree trunk cottage with a mushroom lamp and little separate seating area, lots of little leaves to sprinkle around or to make a leaf garland. You will receive all these elements both in full color and in black and white.

How does it work?
Step 1: After payment you'll receive an e-mail with the link to the digital files.
Step 2: Download the PDF files and read the instructions.
Step 3: Print the printable on A4 paper of your choice (it's four pages).
Step 4: Color all elements (of the coloring page version) with pencils, crayons or markers.
Step 5: Cut out all the elements and fold the folding tabs.
Step 6: Assemble the printable with glue and a piece of string (for the garland).
Step 7: Time to play, decorate or celebrate!
You can use this autumnal printable to make a nature or season table. Decorate it with natural treasures, like dried leaves, acorns or pine cones (but leave some outside for the actual squirrels to nibble on! ;)).

- printing paper (A4), preferably a little sturdier
- scissors
- coloring pencils, crayons or markers
- a piece of string
- glue or double sided tape
- optional: cardboard or sturdy paper to make the elements stand up more easily
- optional: you can laminate the elements to make it more durable
